Company description
Based on the research conducted by Professor Daniel Topgaard at Lund University in Sweden, our techniques focus on adapting strategies from solid-state NMR spectroscopy and magnetic resonance of porous media to be used with clinical scanners. These strategies provide researchers with a tool to gain improved visualization and analysis of diffusion MRI data, which could potentially aid in the differentiation of various pathologies resulting from changes in tissue microstructure. In 2016, the proof-of-concept study ‘The link between diffusion MRI and tumour heterogeneity: Mapping cell eccentricity and density by diffusional variance decomposition (DIVIDE)’ published in NeuroImage, showed that our exclusive protocols for diffusion MRI sequence acquisition and post-processing were capable
Show more of differentiating brain tumours in-vivo. Our history dates back to 2008 when the Contract Research Organization CR Competence, established by Drs Karin Bryskhe and Anna Stenstam, started a project with Professor Topgaard. Our software protocols concerning advanced diffusion MRI sparked a lot of interest early on, which saw the team win the Skåne Innovation Prize for their work on breast cancer imaging diagnostics, as well as the SKAPA Foundation Prize in memory of Alfred Nobel.
