I en idyllisk miljö nära naturen byggdes arkitekten Ralph Erskines bostadsområde på Ekerö 1989-1990. Området fick heta BRF Bokskogen eftersom det ligger bredvid Sveriges nordligaste bokskog i Ekebyhovs Slottspark.
