The healthcare system is currently hindered by fragmented patient health data and lack of access to it. This forces healthcare professionals to work in multiple, separate systems, with data not being standardized, and innovators wasting time building integrations and collecting health data instead of being able to focus on their innovation. Leyr is looking to address this issue by creating an integration platform, with a common application interface (API), to promote interoperability within healthcare. The platform provides an efficient and secure way for eligible parties to share health data in a standardized format, while maintaining and monitoring integrations for the customer. This way, health apps can easily connect to medical record systems, allowing for the quick and secure exchange of important patient health data.
